Reisverslag Jambo Tanzania!
7 juli 2014
After sitting 7 hours next to an US surgeon and almost departing with the wrong transit, we arrived in Dar es Salaam.
Apparently our pickup had some other plans that morning, because our names where nowhere to be found.. Luckly three taxi drivers helped us out and we arrived at the Triniti bar. The guesthouse is beautiful and has three large screens, an heikenen bar and is decorated with orange flags. I guess we won't miss the game this wednesday!
During the day we visited coco beach, which was beautful and nothing like we are used to. But extremely photogenic. The beaches are 'bounty' white and the water looks amazing. Too bad we could only look at the boys diving in the water as it is not appropiate to walk around in our bikinis.. Next to a family who were preparing Coconuts we sat down at a terras, enjoying the sun and the beach.
While I am writing this, Floor almost passing out because of her jetlag, we are waiting for our delicious 'catch of the day'. The chef is probably fishing right now;). After our dinner we are going to prepare our last AIESEC trainings for tomorrow, because fun is over and business has begun! Tomorrow we will be picked up by Francis of AIESEC Tanzania and he will show us around in Dar es Salaam. We will even be staying in the studenthousing instead of touristic hostels.
We are really excited what is coming next.. but so far..
